E-brake in the way 200

Took off my rear rotors to inspect the e-brake pads. Went to put the rotors back on and they won't fit. It's as though the e-brake pads are stuck "on". Admittedly, I did play with the e-brake while I had the rotors off just to see how they worked.

Is there some trick to "pushing" them back ?
