My son's '90 740 8 valve had the ck engine light go on about 2 minutes before he came to a stop (and stalled) to pay a toll. He couldn't get it started and had it towed. I got it started only because I depressed the accelerator( I trained him not to do this while starting injected cars... blame me). It runs pretty well as long as you don't let it return completly to idle. The car ran great just up to the incident. I've checked under the hood and did an archive search but most information doesn't seem to fit the exact problem. Thanks for your help, Butch
