sunroof cable parts replacement 700

hello all,
I have a 1990 760 GLE with an electronic sunroof. I have a gimpy sunroof like many others beofre me (it opens fine but will only close with a little elbow grease from the user). I've read the FAQs about these pesky sunroof problems and they helped walk me through a diagnostic disassembly of the sunroof. I found a couple of missing bolts (that I replaced) and I saw that the cable moves properly when I use the switch but it doesn't seem to be connected to anything! Where is this cable supposed to be attatched? Also, does anyone have suggestions for vendors? I couldn't find any vendors for the cable assembly.
