A/C and Preformance 960 900 1996

Hi,

I'm usually not heavy on the pedal but I've notice a major difference in performance when the A/C is on. (have had the 960 for 8 weeks now) I used to drive my dad's 760 and noticed similar behavior.

You truly feel the cars weight when the A/C is on, all 4400 lbs. Now true, the A/C is supposed to be a killer. But I've driven a V6 malibu and you don't notice a difference in performance (the whole engine is run off one belt I think, a weird design).

I'm talking about 0-30mph performance. I don't push it, but its noticeable. (again, i rarely go over 4000 rpm)

If this is something that happens with others, and is normal, it won't bother me. Or has someone else had a similar problem and figured how to fix it?

Thanks,
Al

p.s. not the best place and time to ask, but has anyone tried the platinum 4 bosch plugs? they do any good? is it better for the engine, or just a waste of money? I heard burn more efficiently, but also heard i should stick to plugs from the dealer.
