Buzzing Flasher relay? 200 1990

Ok so I have a 90' 245 and all of a sudden when I try and use the directional signals, the flasher relay just buzzes, and no blink. This happened almost all of a sudden while I was driving. The 4-way flashers work fine.

The strange thing is that this has happened before (10 months earlier) and I had tried replacing the relay and the 4-way switch with no help. The problem went away on it's own.

All of the bulbs are working fine and I get no other problems. Any ideas on what the problem is?
