I think it's time to replace the blower motor. 700 1992

Good Evening All BB'ers

I just found out today that my blower motor is no longer blowing air. I guess i'm not too upset because my mechanic said that it was not working last week but i did not believe him because it was working a couple of weeks ago when i checked the A/C to see if that was blowing COLD AIR.

Anyways, my mechanic quoted me including 1.5 hour labor was about 340.00. I think i would much rather attempt to do this one myself.I did check the 700/900 faquz and it does not seem to be that hard.

The blower is under the pass side glove box around the ecu right? I will read the info again.

Where can i get a new blower motorfor my 92 745t?

How much?

remove and replace time?

Is it really the blower motor? Or does it need cleaning?

ps Back in the winter i would hear the blower motor working but it would sound like some paper is stuck in there.A clicking sound when it was on 1-3. 4 and 5 was OK.

Thank you for any responses.
