25 Amp Fuse 200 1987

is the 25 amp fuse near the coil directly related to the fuel system?

The reason I ask this is I was driving up a long hill in really hot weather yesterday and the engine started losing power for a second and then going again. It continued to do this more and more often as I went. When I let the RPMs go down it would some times die. HOwever it would always start right back up after it would stall. I thought it was probably the FP relay and I had another one with me becuase I was questioning mine anyway. I put the new one on and there was no change in preformance. I gave it a good chance but nothing was differnt. Frustrated I put the old on back on and then started messing with some wires under the hood. I took the 25 amp fuse out wiped the grime off of it and put it back in. I drove back over the hill and the car ran normal with no loss of power and it hasn't stalled since. I replaced the fuse and have not had the same problem.
