Can anyone point me in the right direction? Yesterday the piston partially popped out of my clutch slave cylinder which deposited dot3 underneath my 1988 745t and left me without a clutch. Luckily the seal was intact and after a quick roadside fix plus some extra dot3 I got home o.k.. Today I read where this has happened to others and that a quick fix is to put a nut into the cylinder piston thus lengthening the pushrod and hopefully solving the problem. Wrong!
Same thing happened again today except the seal was ripped. Got home driving without a clutch. Great fun.
Well I replaced the seal a few moments ago and bled the slave. Put it all together and still no clutch. No pressure from the pedal but it springs back up and doesn't stay down. Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
