Bad vibration at idle 700 1989

Hi everyone

Appreciate any advice.

Symptoms are vibration at idle as evident by the steering wheel shaking (a bit)and shifter vibrating (this one is annoying as is rattles against the shifter console). It also may be causing an exhaust rattle going uphill (I posted this just recently) Car otherwise runs well and great. Good acceleration. Idle is rock steady at around 800-900 rpm.

This is what I've done so far

changed motor and tranny mounts
checked all vacuum hoses
cleaned throttle body and adjusted base idle etc as per FAQ
new plugs (bosch)
new distributor
new plug wires (bougicord)
cleaned Auxillary Air Valve
new bushings for alternator, PS pump & compressor
new fuel filter

The shifter rattling is really annoying when in idle. Doesn't matter whether N or in P. I thought it was the shifter linkage bushings but renewing those made the rattling much worse.

Any thoughts much appreciated as I'm clueless at this point. Thanks
