Sloppy suspension/clunking noise 200 1984

Hello Bricksters,

My 84' 242TI's suspension is going nuts. It's rather sloppy feeling right now, and part of that is a need for new dampers but for instance, when I drive over any portion of road that isn't smooth I get atleast some clunking/chatter noise. The loudest one also happens when I make left turns as I return the wheel to center. I can feel the clunk through the steering wheel and occasionally when I don't get the clunk directly after centering the wheel it jolts my wheel leftward if I turn it at all left of center. I know a slue of things could be my problem, so here is what I've check to make sure they are atleast still attached: Ball joints, tie rods (not under boots), and sway bar ends along with anything else I could easily see when I was under my car last week. Thanks for any input!

Justin
