AC on its way out...lots of noises...but still blows pretty cold 200

Hey all,
When I have the AC engaged the evaporator makes a lot of long squeeks and other noises, and the compressor sounds like a foghorn when cycling on and off. I notice significant loss of power when the compressor engages (foghorn) more so than in years past. Air is still pretty cold, so maybe the system needs a recharge, but could the other equipment be failing? Started to notice it last year, but seems to have gotten worse.

On a side, reinstalled the clutch fan w/shroud...no longer overheats and remains at or below 9 pm in 85 degree Boston traffic. Keeping it OEM for now!

Thanks as always,
Adam
