Sad to say, but the 93 960 wagon I have been keeping in pristine condition is now a rolling parts pile.
I was traveling back from lunch through a local park last Monday and stopped when I came upon a flooded road. The maintenance crew in the Ford F350 twin cab diesel that had been following me for the last mile or so rear-ended me at about 25 mph with the damage you see in the picture below. It blew the rear window clean out and over his truck. My friend in the car behind him say he never slowed or braked. None of the 4 occupants in my car were injured.
I was particularly hearbroken because I had just put a newly rebuilt engine and trans in over Memorial day...1200 miles on the new set-up. I was looking for another 11 years!
Once I settle up with the city which could take some time and if I get to keep the car, its up for parts...contact me with your request.
The original motor and trans had 190k on them and I got a glowing oil analysis report when I pulled it.
EVERYTHING on the car is functional (save the rear gate & wiper) and up for sale.
It also has an IPD set of lowering springs.
I'm in Phila PA.
Let me know what anybody wants.
PS. I've replaced it with a 1998 V90 wagon and will keep you posted with what I find.
