Springin' for Springs - IPD or B&G? 200

So the little turbo is gonna' get new shocks and springs. Shox.com has B&G springs (lowers the car 1.6") for $219 and IPD has TME springs (lowers the car 1-1.25") for $228. Anyone want to share their experiences with either? Any other suggestions? I want Konis but will probably go with the Bilstein HDs.

I don't want to slam the car to the ground, there are too many potholes, dips and steep driveways here, but I wouldn't mind dropping it a bit.
