Airbag sensor light

Good afternoon!

I have a 91 940 GLE 4 cyl. with 16 valves and the dashboard sensor light for the airbag just lit up. How do I turn it off? Also, how can I check and adjust the timing on this car? Please advise. Thanks and have a great day!
