Thermostat 900 1996

Hi Ya'll

I attempted to find the thermostat that detects the surface temperature.

I heard it was behind the front license plate... so I removed the tray under the radiator and grill, and I only found the hoses that go to the headlight washers.

I know its no big deal, but it'd be nice to get rid of the annoying light... plus i don't know exactly how its affecting the tranny.
