How do I remove the evaporator? 200 1986

If you were given a choice of doing one job (either replace heater blower fan OR replace the AC evaporator), which would you pick?

Do I need to take everything out under the dash in order to replace the AC evaporator?

I'm wondering which job would a mechanic charge more labor for?

Also...if any of you have instructions for converting to R134a, please send me a copy to blcaballero@tva.gov
