oil leaks around the filler cap HOW TO FIX????? 700

FOLKS I am at my wits end with this oil leak , I have an 1988 740 gle wagon with a b230f , my problem is the oil filler cap leaks around the rim . Here is what I have done to correct the problem, replaced the cap , replaced the rubber twice ,replaced the fire trap even tryed to put in a pcv valve from another car to try and vent ( i think too much pressure in head) and it still leaks around the cap, any suggestions????
