Suddenly running rough and Check engine light on 200

Last saturday my car suddenly almost did not start, and when it did it ran very rough until it warmed up - and then it just idled rough. Still is idling rough. It has had a small exhaust leak for over a year. I just looked underneath, and it seems like the noise is coming from the catalyc converter. It looks like the hole for the Oxygen sensor is quite rusty. Could this be the problem with the poor idle? Perhaps oxygen getting in or bad ground?
