HELP with OBDII info!

I replaced my crunched 93 960 wagon with a 98 V90 last week...took it in to my local independent for PA inspection ...inspection runs out today so I am down to the wire but I needed to do tires & brakes etc before it would pass.

It failed the emissions because the OBDII system did not report enough sensor channels in the "readiness" mode..the 98 model year can't have more than 2 channels unready. In PA, since July 2004, '96 and newer cars are emissions inspected via the OBDII system.

The fix is to run a "driveability cycle" which entails a whole bunch of "speed up to XX mph and slow down and idle for 10 minute steps etc etc"..my mechanic let me copy the sequence from his universla manual and the wife and I tried to run the cycles.

Pain in the butt to run on public roads and it didn't work anyway.

Doing some research on his Alldata system and some web searches myself, it turns out that ALL 96-98 Volvos except the 850 turbo have problems setting enough OBDII channels to "ready".

Volvo issued technical service bulletins SB-2-23-0056 (1/2002) and SB 2-23-0059 (7/2002) with revised driving cyles to correct this.

The Volvo deal wouldn't give me a copy (no kidding, after he told me it would be 2 days and up to $300 for him to do it) and it's not available for sale on the volvo tech info website.

I tried google searches to no avail...does anyone have access to either of these
and would you be willing to share???

I'm up a creek otherwise.

TIA.
