I had a racing idle (2500-2700 rpms) as posted yesterday. I retested the coolant temp sensor when the engine was cold this morning. It tested bad so I replaced it and the problem is solved. No more insane racing engine at stop signs. I'm guessing that the coolant temp sensor was sending a message to the ICU that the engine was cold even when the engine was hot. So the ICU opened the air control valve to supply more air to the engine which caused the racing. Just my theory. All I know is it seems to be fixed.
