A Hearty Thankyou Bricks 200

Had a problem with hard steerin... some Bricks suggested lower U-joint lube or replacement; others suggested lubing the steering joint...I took it to an NTB to check it out.Liked the mechanic who was helpful in the past... he drove it and pronounced "needs a new rack"!! All I could see was huge $$$. Earlier, I offered Brics' suggestions to the desk man and he said:"leave it to the experts". After speaking with the front-end guy (Gus) about some of the Bricks' thoughts,he again discounted the Bricks' suggestions. The front end mechanic sprayed some penetrating oil into a quite rusty U-Joint... in fact, he oiled the upper as well...he wiggled it on the lift/front end machine. The steering became smoother wiggle by wiggle....and he pronounced: "I guess that really was the problem...why didn't you tell me before?" I said: "Go ask Gus, he's the one who said you guys are the "experts"" ...." The Bricks have computer knowledge but should bow to the experts"(ha) Thank you one and all for sharing years of experience and wisdom!
