Hello, I have a 1990 740 Turbo Intercooler, with a rapidly failing clutch slave cylinder: Fluid drips out of the boot on the slave cylinder, the pedal doesn't always return fully, and the clutch begins engaging slowly by itself. I ordered a new slave cylinder, and I'm going to try to install it myself, which doesn't seem too hard, but I need my car to drive to work, so I need to finish it in one day.

So my question is: Will I be able to bleed the clutch afterwards without a pressure bleeder? I would think so, but there the hard line before the slave is coiled up in 2 loops, and seems like it would trap air, so will the flow of fluid from pumping the pedal be enough to force the air out the bleed valve on the slave? And is just opening the bleed valve on the slave and pumping while refilling the resevoir the best way to bleed it?
