pass. tie rod end needs replacement 700 1992

Stop by my mechanic and he said that my passenger tie rod end needs to be replaced. and the driver's side is loose i figure that i might as well do both sides. Is this something i can do myself? I am pretty good with a wrench not to mention that it is cheaper to do it myself. I need some pointers. Any info for me will be greatly appreciated. I am going by my swedish car spot and pick up the tie rod ends.
