thermostat 900 1994

Can anyone tell me where the thermostat is located on a 94 940 Turbo? Just changed out the radiator and it is still running hot,,, but the thermostat does not indicate it is hot. I have the part, but can't locate it on the engine. The diagram that came with the part is not helpful.
