Tail lamp wiring 700 1987

All right, I've been crawling all over the internet looking for a simple guide to re-wiring a 760 Turbo Tail-light system. I needed to replace the left side cover, but when I connected the wires, everything went wrong! The break light works only on the bottom, unless you turn on the turn signal, then it pulses opposite the turn signal. If someone could tell me which wire is supposed to go to which bulb/connector, I'd be very greatful.
