My 240 wagon ran out of gas. Filled it up but still won't start. Please, please help! 200

Sounds like the fuel pump is in the gas tank, when I turn the key I hear the pump turn on for two seconds then it turns off. Any advice as to how to get gas back into the line would be great. Peace, Wendell
