In an attempt to repair slow leaks on two of my bricks where the aluminum pipe to the compressor had worn spots (without having to buy/find a pump to evacuate the system) I put two large globs of JB Weld on the worn spots and all the way around the pipe. However, after having to add a can of 134 to each car after a month or two, I pulled out my UV light and saw what looks like a fine coating of dye on the JB Weld repairs. So it looks like the molecules of dye and 134 are small enough to migrate through the epoxy. Can this be so? I thought this stuff was solid kryptonite.
