AW70 'bumps' forward sometimes when car is stopped 200 1988

Gary, our '88 245, has recently started a new thing. Occasionally when you stop at a traffic signal the drive train will make a lurch forward. I don't think the car actually moves as the brake is applied. It feels the same way if you had gotten tapped from behind.

So:
-Car is at operating temp
-Car is in Drive
-Car is stopped at signal
-A "bump" is heard and felt

I have flushed this transmission before and that is truly the extent of my tranny knowledge.

Any thoughts?
