Auto Trany position indicator 200 1990

I bought a 90 240 DL recently.

The auto transmission shifter is a little loose, the stck wobbles a bit, but the selection doesn't change positions without my effort.

I have 2 questions you can help me with (this time).

1) Is there a selection light indicator or something similar that would help me (and other drivers) know what selection is locked in?

B) How do I remove the shifter cover to get to the shifter base?

and

III) any advice on how to tighten up the shifter?
