Question: Selling a car with a different year engine. 700

I recently posted about my '89 765T needing a new engine.

I've been thinking recently about the point in time when I come to sell the car...

"1989 760 Turbo Wagon 135k on the odometer, 78k on the replacement 1994 B230FT engine" I would then move on to state that "the '94 has a 100k mile timing belt interval, piston oil cooling, but has the LH2.2 engine managment system which was original to the '89. Black, good paint, no body damage, grey leather interior in excellent condition." Blah, blah, blah.

I'm interested in what you think either from personal experience selling a car of this type (bastardized? improved?) or from a buyer's perspective. As a Brickboarder I would jump at the chance to have what is, essentially, a 940T with low miles on the ('94) engine and everything else in excellent working condition. But how do you think John Q. Public would see this car? I would of course document everything that was done so that they wouldn't observe the 50k recommended t-belt changes, etc...

Also, while I have your attention. Which oil cooler is preffered? The '89 presently has the air/radiator type cooler but the '94 has the water cooled type.

Regards,
Bean
