One piece hub - castellated nut - how tight ? 700 1985

I just installed new one-piece hubs and bearings on my 85 740. (Brembo)

Anyhow, I am not sure how tight to make the castillated nut on the hub. Any tips would be appreciated. I tightened it until there was some friction and then turned back to the previous hole for the cotter pin. After I drove it a while and jacked up the car It seems that I have some play in the hub. I must not have it tight enough ?

I could not seem to find the info in the FAQ.
