LH 1.0 to LH 2.2 conversion. A couple issues to resolve

Hi,
Thanks for the help so far guys.
Looking at feasiblity of converting and early(82)Lh1.0 fuel system to LH 2.2.

Going with the Lh 2.2 makes a lot more sense. there is one thing:

1. From what I can tell, the knock sensor was added in 85. I just need to know how running this system with the knock sensor unconnected will affect the operation of my 82. And if there is no adverse affect, is it possible that I can stay with the ignition set up that came with the LH 1.0(no knock sensor). These systems look the same except for the knock sensor.

Maybe I should just go with the Lh 2.0?
