afternoon all,

been help my brother look for a ride over the past couple months (no hurry). then last night i ran across an '88 744Ti for $925. so far from what my brother's told me (after him talking to the owner), it's got 202k mi, the interior's good except that the headliner needs replacing. the exterior needs a coat. or two. they guys says he has the records and is getting rid of it because he just got the car he wanted.

personally, i have a '91 945T, and a buddy of mine had an '87 744, so i'm roughly familiar with this car.

i'll be taking it out for a test drive either tonight or tomorrow evening, then, if all things are good, to my wrench for an inspection.

for those of you here in the 700 forum, is there additional information (besides the FAQ) we should know about this specific year before we take the plunge?
