Why hasn't anyone made a map out of sheet metal yet? Or has someone? It seems like if would be simple enough. A few bends, a few folds, and a few hole punches and your done. An aluminum map pocket would be great. It would be simple and easy to make, has anyone suggested this to IPD?

I wish I still had access to a machine shop for materials and tools.
