Removing turbo- oil inlet line????? 700 1989

I just purchased an '89 760 with a bad turbo. I am attempting to remove the turbo and rebuild it. The initial steps went quite well- I was really impressed by how easily the hoses slid off without having to cut them off and the exhaust manifold bolts were not very rusty at all. However, things have come to a standstill with the turbo oil inlet line. I have it removed from the top of the turbo, but cannot free it from the the turbo and exhaust manifold enough to pull them by it. I see where the other end of the line goes into the engine block, but getting to it will be VERY difficult because the lower control arm is directly under the port on the block and the exhaust manifold blocks access from the top. Should I attempt to bend the metal oil line? I am afraid that it will break or crack without much effort. If I need to remove the line at the block, does anyone have any tips on how to do this.
