Clutch still slips 200

Had clutch done at highly recommended place.All new parts.Clutch still slips somewhat but not as bad as before. Could it be a defective part? After clutch was done there was a noise like a slipping belt that went away when you tapped lightly on pedal.They put in new return spring & did adjustment& noise is gone but clutch slippage problem still happens. I an thinking about a 2nd opinion from another place.
