'89 240 Wont Start (or turn over) Please HELP ******* 200

I have a 89 240 that wont start or turn over. After getting gas (car completely warmed up) it would not start. All lights/radio etc come on OK but starter will not turn. Are there any obvious things I can check to avoid towing etc.
