IPD sway bars interchangable between 87 740ti and 91 940gl? 700

Hello I have the chance to swap out ipd front, rear, and engine strut tower braces from a 91 940gl and put them onto my 87 740Ti. I know the strut tower brace would work, but what about the front and rear sway bars? I would also need to install my stock 740 sway bars onto the 940 . Is it possible? TIA
