High insurance rates? or Just a case of male discrimination?

I'm a 20 year old male with a clean driving record who has had his licience since the age of 17. I drive a 1988 244. I got to looking over my insurance bill and I belive that I should have lower rates after four years of driving. (1st with permit) I pay $630 per six months for full coverage. Is this inline with what others in similer situations are paying? I know that some people just keep libility on their car, but that would only save me about $26.00 a month or $160 per six months, and I would not really feel confortable with that. Maybe I'm just griping, but it seems like they are charging me an alful lot consider what I drive. They don't charge me much less then what they charge for cousen who drives a 98 mustang GT, who has actually had a ticket.
Thanks for listening, and happy bricking.
