i have a 1981 240 Dl nonturbo with a breakerless igniton system. I have a problem that i cant solve... there is no spark coming from the igniton coil.... the coil seems to be robbed of its power by the wire in the number 1 (negative) teminal. if i turn the igniton on with the white wire (negative) disconnected, there will be a lot of power coming into the coil by means of the brown wire in the positive teminal, although when i put the white wire back on the coil, the brown wire loses much of its power and the white wire doesnt seem to have any power as if it is grounding out..... please help i have given you as much info as i can think of now... if you need more info or have any ideas please email me at Wannabee1989@hotmail.com I would greatly appreciate it!!!
