Hi ,I picked up a trailer hitch at a junkyard. It is in pretty good condition. The brand on the hitch says drawtite.I pulled it from a late model 240. The hitch has 6 holes through it to mount it to the frame of the car.I located 4 holes pre tapped into the frame near the bumper 2 on each side on my car. The other two holes are there ,but I dont see a stud to to put through the hitch frame ..Do you have to put these bolts in through the trunk to come down through the frame so you then can attach the hitch at all points .Please help.If have have done this installation I would kindly appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks Ron.. P.S. this is a volvo 240 trailer hitch.It fits perfectly.I just need a little more info as I described to install it.
