Under the best conditions it seems like the wiper linkage cables are not
easy to do but I found a trick that helps some. I hooked up the OTHER end!
There is a little plate that holds the staked end into a hole in the channel.
By straightening out two small prongs on the back of the channel, the insert
comes out. I was able to wind the cable around the pulley and stick it up
through the hole in the back of the channel and put the little plate back in
to hold it, then bend the tabs down with channellocks. So we got the wipers
back together and working for the first time since 1998.
