Almost every other day I see a new "940 vs. 960" or "Which is better" topic in this section. It’s getting really tiresome. I suggest the following change. I hope to get everybody's opinion on this:
Lets separate the 940 and 960 discussion board. Bundle the 960 boards with the S90/V90 board. Most of the information posted about 940s is useless to me just as I’m sure all the 960 timing belt and PNP switch discussions is useless to a 940 owner. On the other hand I have to look at both 900 and S90/V90. I am sure there is a segment of S90/V90 owners that have no idea the 960 are the same car. They only visit when they have a question about a problem that might be better answered by a 960 owner.
I would like to generate some discussion on this matter. I hope nobody is offended by this idea. I have the utmost respect for all Volvo owners that take the time to not only maintain their own cars but also help others. This board has been an invaluable resource and I just want to make it better.
