Expansion Tank Cap: Use Green or Black? 700

Hi Everyone,
In redoing my cooling sys hoses and expansion tank I am ordering a new cap. The one on the expansion tank is a Green one. Looks old/orig. I was looking at IPD's catalog and they recomend against using a Green Cap (they say use a Black instead since it is lower preasure). Any reason why? What is the original cap for my 87-740T? Would it be smarter to go with the Black?
