DIY exhaust header pipe? 200

I recently had my muffler replaced with factory parts...my 1990 240 sounded great - well normal, for about 2 days...not it's lousy as heck - i like to call it sexy, and it needs a new header pipe...since the factory part is so expensive i'd like to buy an aftermarket but am wondering if i'd be able to install it myself? is this something that could be done in my driveway...or is it not worth the hassle...i'm only somewhat mechanically inclined...also, are there any significant drawbacks to an aftermarket pipe...

thanks

240 fan
