What Can I Do With 12 Volts to Trunk? 200 1984

A few weeks ago I made a posting to this forum about the little button in the glove compartment. I received a bunch of responses, as well as a dandy schematic, to the effect that this was an electric hood release switch.

Shortly after reading the feedback, I noticed that a fellow was selling a replacement for my burned out hood release motor on ebay for about $10. Although my friends at Independent Volvo in Albuquerque told me that this motor goes for something like $160 new, I passed on buying it because I reasoned, in the end, that having a hood release in the glove compartment was a stupid idea.

I did think it was kinda cool to have access to a 12 volt connection to the trunk and was thinking it would be neat to configure some sort of neon or diode signage that I could flick on when some idiot got too close to my backend.

And so, today's question is, is there anybody out there that makes such signage? Signs that say "Back Off," "Don't Like My Driving, Call 1-800-EAT-SHIT" and so on? When somebody got to close I could just press a button and tell them what I really think? All ideas for a 12 volt system would be appreciated. Thank you, Amtrak.
