Flame trap/PCV 900 1992

I have a 92 960 with a 6304 motor. Is there a flame trap or PCV device that requires regular cleaning or maintenance on this engine? I sometimes get a whiff of crankcase fumes at idle, and can't figure out where they may be venting from. Vehile has 192000km on it, runs very strong, zero oil consumption over 5000km, no indication of engine failure except this odd whiff of crank fumes.
