Head Gasket 200 1986

Doing the head gasket on my 245 because of an oil.coolant leak. I'm having head planed and checked for cracks. Will check the summaries on this subject but just looking for some advice,pitfalls etc. I am using a german made gasket and plan to reuse the head bolts. Ed.
