the elusive 'short-travel' clutch 200 1986

"Low-rise", "short-travel" Clutch - not sure of exact term here for the clutch in later 240s ('90 and on?). I did search this board once for info. Do they exist, how do they work?, etc. I never see mention of them as an option from any parts suppliers - for example FCP groton sells a Sachs kit covering all of '87-'93. So I'm wondering is it possible to acquire one and throw it in an '86?
