Pinion Nut Socket Size Solved -- Now A New Question 200 1983

Hello all,

Finally got my dial caliper back and figured out the socket size for the pinion nut on the differential of an 83 245 is 27 mm. Got the socket. Also, checked the tag on the axle and it doesn't have a compression sleeve. So, the next question is, is it humanly possible, without an impact wrench or a grizzly bear to lend a hand, to loosen the pinion nut? I've got a smashed thumb to prove an 18" breaker is insufficient to do the job. Must I resort to a 4' pipe? My dignity is at stake as my wife told me I should have taken the car to the shop to get the pinion seal changed out. The pride of a dyed in the wool do-it-yourselfer is at stake. She watched me spend an entire day with a hacksaw removing the bushings from my torque rods so she knows my level of determination. By the way, the bolts and nuts on the flange that connects to the driveshaft are 14 mm so two box end wrenches are required to do job.
